traversable wormhole has become one of the hottest mystery artist projects/series in the techno scene in 2009. crossing the spectrum from deep techno to hard techno, tw has even found its way into the dubstep scene. traversable wormhole has been played from a huge array of djs from many scenes. reports through the wormhole have heard tracks from tw played by world famous djs such as chris liebing, ben klock, marcel dettmann, mathew herbert, andrew galluzi, surgeon, function, frankie bones, luke slater, surgeon, dj deep and a whole lot more... tw has many years experience in performing both as a live act and or djing with turntables under his his/she/there well known projects names. will tw reveal their identity on the upcoming worldwide tour that question remains unknown.

dark beat is a new label from glasgow, set up to promote its own take on deep, dark atmospherical techno.

on the a side we have oddity with a massive remix from mark broom. his remix of oddity is a no nonsense stripped back techno affair with a ripping synth line, the track teases you with a number off small drops before the massive atmospheric breakdown which would bring carnage on any dance floor.

spirit catcher is becoming more and more a permanent member of the systematic family. after their debut e.p. last year and their contribution to the >5ysyst< project last summer, these three tracks are their latest productions on my systematic imprint. something which always impresses me a lot is how jean and tom continue todevelop their distinctive spirit catcher sound, no matter if they release on 20:20 vision, nrk, moodmusic or elsewhere. its always an awesome mixture of fluffy driving house beats, a portion of deepest darkness and freshhypnotic sounds figures! i love the way how they do install the dark organ melody at >sedona<. the organ soundspretty outta space and lets me float away once i have closed my eyes. also, the mystic mood at >future fools<generates me a goose skin, every time i hear it. >el condor< by pele closes a great 2009 for the label and maintains the quality levels in fine style. with just a handful of original releases since 2005, mostly for the impeccable connaisseur imprint, patrick gallenmüller aka pele has managed to make a disproportionate impact on housemusic. his releases and remixes have seen massive support and a quick check on his myspace reveals a dj diary of artists twice as prolific - a testament to the quality of his work (and his djing). the title cut of this threetrack/one remix ep sees the bavarian producer present a track which combines the simplest of elements into a hynpotic yet memorable track.

a2 is one of those tracks that will cause a lot of fun in your local recordstore when somebody tries to explain the staff the name of this track he is looking for ,-) besides that its a cool minimal-ish tricky groovetool with soulful vocals and a very unique vibe.
b1 is a classic deep and hypnotic chordanthem, slowly building in a hypnotic way and delivering its full dancefloor effect right after the main break.
the sweno n remix is perfect for the bigger floors: clean and straight production, techy vibe, driving chord stabs - this is a perfect dancefloor-destroyer for the middle of the night.
